If you’ve read any of our previous content you’ll know that St. Albans Odyssey is one of our favourite luxury, unique cinema experiences bar-none. Looking for an excuse to go and fancy something a bit different? Then January 27th 2020 might be the perfect night for you, with Greenpeace due to take over with an exhibition, film showing and panel discussion that is guaranteed to get you thinking.

For the hour prior to the film showing you will have access to a unique free photo exhibition in the foyer. “Protect the Oceans” is an eye-opening look at the impact of plastic pollution on wildlife.

The main event is a showing of 2040, a feature length documentary by Damon Gameau. Concerned for the future of his daughter, he travels the globe looking for innovative solutions to the climate crisis. Currently rated at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, it is definitely worth your time.

To round off the night, the screening will be followed by a panel discussion with a variety of local environemntal experts including MP Daisy Cooper and representatives from Extinction Rebellion, Friends of the Earth and the Green Party.
