Odeon Cinemas

Founded in 1930 by Oscar Deutsch, Odeon Cinemas is the UK’s largest and most well-known cinema chain in the country. With over 130 sites in the UK and Ireland, Odeon has a long history of entertaining audiences with film, since the first Odeon opened in 1930 at Perry Bar, Birmingham.

As well as running the BFI Imax in London which has the largest cinema screen in the UK, Odeon also run the UK’s biggest cinema loyalty scheme – with 2 million members! Not forgetting the popular Limitless card that launched in 2016 which offers cinephiles the chance to see all the films they want, as often as they like.

Odeon Cinemas present a mainstream film programme with most locations also offering Costa Coffees onsite alongside Ben and Jerry counters. Newer locations also include facilities such as a cocktail lounge called Ambar, a gourmet pizza bar called Croma, ISENSE projection or “The Gallery”, a VIP offering that includes unlimited popcorn, nachos and soft drinks in other locations. And “The Lounge” is the ultimate in luxury cinema-going with luxury reclining seats, fine dining and waiter service key elements of this new feature.
